Processing of photo and video documentation
High attention is paid also to the photo and video documentation that we regard as the only truly objective source. Until 2003 the whole photo documentation was made on classical colour films (35 mm negatives or slides), mostly Kodak 200. Digital photograph came entirely to the front in 2004 only, with the onset of entry-level DSLR with the resolution over 6 mpx. All 35 mm film rolls (negatives and slides) from 1997 up to now are scanned and archived in the photo quality of 10 x 15 cm. The photo archive of our company since 1997 registers almost 80 000 photographs. They are adjusted in the program Corel Photo-Paint.
In 2001 started also the documentation of all excavations by a digicam. Today all the video recordings from excavations are converted into DVD format. From particular excavations gradually also some edited digital videos are made in the program Adobe Premiere.
